New York | Seoul Bap π
Wanted to sip some sweet wine, but the food was so good I just kept eating! π½οΈ I can't miss any restaurant with Galbi Jjim, and the newly opened Seoul Bap is no exception. The Christmas vibe here is super thick!π π§οΈ Corn Cheese β Who understands the eternal joy of stretchy cheese + sweet corn + nori crumbs! This appetizer is a delightful surprise. π π₯© Galbi Jjim β The meat is super tender and falls apart easily. The seasoning is quite light, which is refreshing. The mashed potatoes and carrots are soft and sticky, and they really impressed me. π π€ Prawn Stew β A slightly spicy seafood tofu soup with a hidden soft-boiled egg. Each spoonful is so comforting, comparable to BCD. π¦ π₯¬ Bossam β The pork belly looks fatty but is not greasy at all. Itβs firm and bouncy. π π Bibimbap β They serve brown rice, which is a thumbs-up! The Bulgogi and vegetables completely cover the rice. Mixed with the spicy sauce, itβs incredibly fragrant. π Most drinks can be made into mocktails. The Lychee Martini is super pretty, and the Mezcal Negroni has a rich taste with a fresh aftertaste. πΈ Unlike the noisy nightlife in Ktown, this bright and cozy bar is perfect for chatting and getting tipsy on a winter evening. The lighting gets a big thumbs-up! The place doesnβt dim the lights to create an atmosphere, so everything is clear and comfortable.π‘ I thought the portions would be small for such a fancy place, but they give you plenty of food! It feels like getting a bonus. π π Seoul Bap #NewYorkDining #NYCFood ππ
