Korean cuisine is always one of my favorite and when I heard about Seoul Bap just open not long ago with modern Korean dishes , of course I’ll have to be here!
And yes they’re not disappointing me. There’s have an interesting menu and variety from drinks food and desserts to choose from but since it’s only two of us me and my friend try to not order everything of the menu, we both start with cocktails and thats so refreshing start and after the first round we order the second round and it’s still refreshing and good!
For the food we was asking for recommendations and the chef came out to give us some suggestion so we ended up ordering several dishes and I’m telling you everything was amazing! We start with Seoul Sliders and we pick beef over chicken, and that a good choice!
We also order the Hamachi tartare and again they did it perfect, my friend doesn’t like raw fish normally but he also enjoying it, and the last appetizer we order a crispy rice with mushrooms, I don’t know how they’re making the sauce but it’s absolutely delicious.
And move on to The entree we got the GALBI JJIM and I’m telling you that Galbi jjim was on the next level it’s was not your ordinary that you can find in the other Korean cuisine but it so much different in the good way, the meat and vegetables melted in your mouth as soon as you put it in and the sauce and parsnip purée really bring out the flavors of the dish.
Next was Grilled Branzino with bed of seasoning corns and mushrooms and served with side of fresh tomatoes kimchi, I normally don’t eat tomato by itself except in my sandwich but these tomatoes kimchi they have here I finish them all by myself after my friend try a bite and he said he also like it even when he also doesn’t tomato, the fish was perfectly cook with the crispy skin outside so together with everything it make a good balance of the dish.
we also order from the noodle section , TOBIKO CACIO E PEPE which is creamy parmigiana and pecorino top with tobiko and nori purée sauce, to be honest the dish itself was good but they were perilla leaf shredded on top which is I don’t know at first and my friend mix everything up together and after that I’m not a big fan because of the strong taste and smell after test from the leaf , so if you not a big fan of them just like me , I suggest you to remove it before mixing everything together or ask them to not put it in at all.
with all the food that came out my friend still want to order the BOSSOM that we want to order it from the beginning but cut it off because I feel like we already got a lot of food , so we ended up ordering it afterward but I’m not regretting it since the dish is also very good , the pork belly also cooked really well and also melted in your mouth.
we was so full at the end so we saying no to dessert but the chef coming out with homemade toast rice ice cream with sesame bar and sizzle of caramel and sea salt on top, I’m not sure if that one on the dessert menu but we got it as a complimentary.
As soon as we asking for the check , our server come up with the bottle of Makgeoli, Korean traditional rice wine and pour it for both of us as a complimentary also , after all the experience with them was really nice all staff are super friendly and attentive service and the restaurant was...

Past the corridor of cushioned booths and brick walls, it opens up to a wider seating area adorned with various art pieces, ivy latticed ceiling and an enormous, yet crisp slideshow display of gorgeous landscapes.
If the ambience has not made you feel welcome yet, the staff will surely do. They are attentive and accommodating, making sure your table is cleared before each dish is served and keeping your glass full throughout the night.
Most dishes are Korean classics that have been redesigned and artistically plated. My favorite items were the Korean Fried Chicken and Chopped Cheese burger. Here are my thoughts for the dishes I have sampled:
Salmon Tartare – 8.5/10 – The kettle chips are freshly fried. When topped with chopped salmon and salmon roe, it is refreshing, saline and sweet yet crunchy.
Pajeon – 7.5/10 – A crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside seafood pancake. Large pieces of calamari add a spring to every bite. Must eat fresh out of the kitchen or the crispy shell will get soggy.
Bossam – 8.5/10 – Probably one of the most tender pork belly cuts I’ve had in a while. Pairs nicely their made in-house pickled radish. It has a nice level of spice that balances out once you have wrapped them all into lettuce. Would love to have more slices of the bossam on my plate.
Korean Fried Chicken – 10/10 – This is the best korean fried chicken I’ve ever had and I live in Koreatown. The sauce is tangy, sweet & sticky and the crunch is indescribable. I didn’t care much for the side of pickled radish but the yuzu mayo sauce that comes with it is a must try. The citrusy and light flavors harmonize with the rich sauce. I had to order 2 of these.
Bibimbap – 8/10 – A nice assortment of sautéed veggies and runny egg on top of warm purple rice. All the veggies are crisp and not mushy at all. The sauce is sweet and not too spicy but it’s on the side so you can adjust to your liking.
Chopped Cheese Burger – 10/10 – First thing I noticed was that the bun was perfectly buttered and toasted. The crispiness made it easy to hold and the interior was fluffy enough to keep the burger intact after each bite. The beef was juicy and cheesy and held together well. This was indeed a gourmet sloppy joe.
Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich – 9.5/10 – Take the best korean fried chicken I’ve ever had in a perfectly toasted bun and add a refreshing sesame slaw and you got yourself the best chicken sandwich in the world. This is a must eat fresh out of the kitchen because the slaw will render the bun soggy if you wait too long.
The owner, Bina, is a master mixologist with decades of restaurant biz experience under her belt. You'll often find her at the bar concocting cocktails that are akin to works of art. Do try the Korean Pear drink if you like fruity notes with subtle sweetness.
To end the night, cute black sesame flavored macaroons branded with their logo were served. This dinner had all the elements to make it wonderful and surreal. I came here to a night out with coworkers, but I will return to a date with the missus.
Please open during lunch time so I can have the chicken sandwich for...
