Shake Shack 📍1333 Broadway, New York One-sentence review: The burgers are a bit better than your average fast food, and they really are everywhere on the East Coast! 🌟 Looking through my photos, I realized I actually ate at Shake Shack several times while in the US. 📸 When traveling, you’re often rushing around, and I’m grateful that Shake Shack was there to save the day with some quick and decent burgers to fill me up. If I were to compare, I’d say Shake Shack’s burgers are roughly on par with Five Guys here in Canada (also known as “Five Guys”). Both the signature cheeseburger and the milkshakes are pretty good: 🍔 The beef in the burger is very juicy, but I think the biggest plus is the bun—it’s an inviting golden brown, super sweet and chewy! 🥤 The strawberry milkshake has a subtle dairy flavor and is a bit thinner than most, which makes it really refreshing. 🍟 The wavy fries in the combo are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. As for whether you’ll have to wait in line at Shake Shack, it totally depends on if it’s mealtime. 🕒 I went a couple of times off-peak, and the place was pretty empty.
