The Met Cloisters, located in Fort Tryon Park at the northern tip of Manhattan along the Hudson River, at the end of the A train, is a branch of The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Although the collection is not as extensive as the main MET, it excels in its lush vegetation and beautiful scenery. ✅In the Middle Ages, monasteries were places for people to reflect and cultivate their minds and bodies. The Met Cloisters was inspired by the concept of this tranquil space. ✅The construction of the museum began in 1933 and is located at the northern end of Fort Tryon Park in Upper Manhattan. The magnificent original medieval European architecture, exquisite gardens, and wonderful works of art are combined, making a visit here like a journey through time.
