Find Things to DoFind The Best Restaurants

New York | Thai Dining Near Central Park 🌟

After a stroll through Central Park, we searched for a highly-rated Thai restaurant and found one with a 4.8 rating. We were originally planning to go to a nearby 4.7-rated Thai place, but feeling like we’d found an even better option, we headed to the 4.8-rated gem without hesitation. 🌟 πŸŽ’πŸƒ The restaurant was tiny, with maybe just ten seats. We ordered Tom Yum soup, Steak Khao Soi curry noodles, and a steak bowl. First off, the curry noodles were super salty. (I usually enjoy spicy and sour flavors, but this was way too salty, and I had to finish it with a frown.) Then, after eating a few pieces of steak that got stuck in my teeth for two hours, my boyfriend finally managed to remove the meat from his teeth only after we got home. When we paid the bill, we understood why it had a 4.8 rating. They gave us a free Thai tea for leaving a five-star review. [awkward laugh] (Alright, we did leave a good review, but just a heads-up: don’t be fooled by the rating! Hahaha.) πŸŽ’πŸƒ In a funny turn of events, after paying and getting the Thai tea, we hadn’t walked far when a homeless man at the subway station asked for it, saying he was very poor and asking if we could give it to him. We thought, why not? It was too sweet for us anyway, so we gave it to him. [awkward laugh] [awkward laugh] πŸŽ’πŸƒ It was truly a meal that left us speechless. πŸ€” #NewYork #NYCFoodie 🌟🌟
