New York | The Gelato That Takes Me Back to Italy in One Bite (1)🍦

Gelateria Gentile 📍 229 Elizabeth St, New York, NY 10012 🎢The summer heat in New York is just unbearable 🥵—it feels like you’re melting just by walking down the street. In this kind of weather, ice cream shops become incredibly appealing, with long lines forming at all the trendy spots. 🍃But standing in the blazing sun to wait in line is really not my idea of fun. I’m not even sure which would melt first, me or the ice cream! 😂 While wandering around Soho, I stumbled upon this little gelato shop almost by accident. The decor is simple and understated—definitely the kind of place that makes you do a double-take as you pass by, but it’s not super memorable. Inside, there were just a few customers, so it wasn’t crowded but also not deserted. 🌊 The flavors here are pretty basic and not too many to choose from. I tried stracciatella, caffe, crema, and a banana sorbet. In the end, I went with the first two. #NYCFoodie #NYCGelato #ItalianDreams 🌺
