New York | Two New Bars Added to Greenpoint’s List 🌟

🍃Two new neighborhood bars in Greenpoint are worth checking out, and their close proximity makes it easy to visit both in one go! 🌇 Bar Americano 🥂 🌊 Inspired by the aperitif bars of Spain and Northern Italy, Bar Americano stands out with its dedicated absinthe and sherry menus. The food is delicious, and the cocktails are well-crafted. It’s more of a bar setting, with a menu focused on finger foods and snacks perfect for pairing with drinks. 🥢 Cecily 🍽️ 🌸Just a short walk away, Cecily is more of a dining bar where you can really satisfy your hunger! When we sat down, the bartender asked if we knew one of the owners was Taiwanese. My friend and I exchanged a smile: “Well, now we know! :)” Owners Tara Noble and Kristin Ma met while working at the wine restaurant LaLou and opened Cecily last December in a popular corner on Franklin Street, which used to be an art gallery. 🎢 The wine list features mostly French and Spanish wines, along with other European selections. Cecily’s chef, Zach Frieling, was previously the chef at the Midtown Italian restaurant Jupiter. Even a month later, as I write this note and look through the photos, the aroma of the garlic-infused guanciale-topped mussels toast, the cabbage salad, and the roasted chicken still lingers in my mouth. 🍖 Locations: 🍃 Bar Americano: 180 Franklin St, Brooklyn Cecily: 80 Franklin St, Brooklyn #NYCBars #NYCRestaurants 🌟🌟
