I came here with a plus one on a Saturday evening, no reservation, with the expectation that I wouldn't be able snag a seat. Right away the owner greeted us and made it his priority to make something work even though the restaurant was completely full (bar and seating). He took the time to introduce his wait staff, bartenders and tell us the backstory in creating Bar Americano. The place itself is versatile—date night, post-work drinks, catching up with an old friend, it fits the mood. Next time, I’ll arrive hungry with no dinner...
