Vert Frais is hands down my favorite spot right here in my neighborhood! 🌟 Every time I visit, it feels like a little slice of heaven. During the winter months, their seasonal Chestnut Soufflé is an absolute must-try. The soufflé is perfectly duangduang—wobbly yet fluffy, with a comforting texture that warms you up from the inside out. Paired with the smooth and aromatic chestnut purée 🌰, it’s like a cozy hug in a bowl. Every bite is pure bliss! 🍃 While we’re on the topic of desserts, let’s chat about some other places I’ve visited recently. Junsik is a place that gets a lot of buzz, but I have to say, I found their desserts to be just average. The banana dessert was okay, but it didn’t leave a lasting impression. 🍌 Cosme’s cornhusk meringues are incredibly popular, and Aquavit’s bird’s nest dessert is always a topic of conversation. But for me, these dishes are more about the interactive experience and the stunning presentation than the actual taste. 🌟 They’re definitely fun to try, but when it comes to flavor, they don’t quite measure up to the hype. #NewYorkCuisine #NewYorkDesserts 🌃🌟
