🍃The fig toast at Sonnyboy is truly worth the hype! 🌟 I’ve seen fig toast on so many menus, and I always thought, “Is this really worth the fuss? It looks so simple.” But Sonnyboy’s version is genuinely impressive. 🎢The sourdough is soft yet chewy, with a lovely wheat aroma—that’s no small feat! The ricotta cheese is creamy and not at all cloying, reminiscent of my grandmother’s cooking. It’s a great alternative to opso. The main challenge in replicating it at home is finding a delicious sourdough base. 🥪 🌸 I meant to order the beef sandwich but ended up with a burger instead. It was just a regular burger, and the fries were nothing special. 🍔 I guess sometimes the simplest dishes are the hardest to get right. Maybe next time I’ll give the sandwich a try. 🌊 On the way, I passed by a coffee shop that looks newly opened. It had a cozy vibe and some interesting drinks on the menu.
