New York ❤️ A Yakiniku Spot That Transports You to Japan in Seconds

📍Yakiniku Toraji An I’ve visited a few times for the lunch set and was always satisfied. The $40 set includes wagyu beef, soup, and a complimentary dessert 🍦. 🗽 This time, it was my first dinner with friends. Six of us ordered four 148 seafood + wagyu sets, plus two bottles of yuzu sake. The final bill per person was $160. Next time, I’d go for the set without seafood. The lobster and scallops were yummy, but personally, I’d rather have an extra portion of wagyu for the same price. 🗽The taste and service were both 💯! The service was truly exceptional—they even took photos for us 📷. The wagyu was delicious and not greasy at all! We swapped the cold noodles and eel rice for beef fried rice. Though the portions were small, it was incredibly flavorful!! If you choose the cold noodles and eel rice, be prepared for tiny servings—it’s like they’re from the land of the little people. The dessert, matcha affogato, was full of ceremony, complete with a set of tools and a bottle of matcha powder to add to your desired taste. We ended our meal on a happy note. 🗽 The shop even offered complimentary hot tea and personally saw us off at the door. Such thoughtful service truly deserves a tip. 🥹 I hope more people get to enjoy such a wonderful place. #NewYorkFood #NYCExploration #NYCJapaneseCuisine 🗽✨
