New York 🄐 My favorite spot for couche rolls

I first tried cardamom rolls in New York last year—and instantly fell head over heels for them! šŸ˜ I even raved about them to all my friends, and now they’re hooked too. Ever since that first bite, I’ve totally abandoned cinnamon rolls. Bye-bye, cinnamon! šŸ‘‹ Cardamom rolls just hit different. I’ve tried all four famous spots in NYC: Fabrique, Smor, Watch House, and La Cabra. I’ve reviewed them before, and I love both Fabrique and Smor. But if I had to pick a favorite? Smor wins by a hair! šŸ„‡ šŸ“ Smor šŸ“ 437 E 12th St, New York, NY 10009 Even though it’s a bit off the beaten path, the place is always bustling. On nice weekends, it’s packed with people—such a vibe! ā˜€ļø There’s also their brunch spot next door, which looks amazing—I’m definitely trying that next time. I only ever get their Cardamom Roll at the bakery, and it’s the biggest one out of the four spots. The dough is moist, and it’s twisted into this fun shape, so the cardamom flavor is evenly distributed in every bite—genius! The texture is chewy, and while there’s a good amount of sugar and butter, it’s perfect—just enough to satisfy that sweet tooth without being overwhelming. After finishing one, I still want more—I could easily go for a second! šŸ˜‹ It’s that good. #NYCFood #NYC #NYCDaily #StudentFoodie #NYCBread #NYCBaking #NYCDesserts #CardamomRoll #CinnamonRoll #BreadLover #NYCStudyAbroad #NYCWorker #NYCWeekend #NYCLife
