New York 🥐 Shakalaka Bakery

Ever since this internet-famous Bakery opened, I've been stocking up every weekend. Especially now that the sweatshop doesn't even provide breakfast, I can't live without all sorts of bread, croissants, and small cakes. After so many visits, here's a review: 🌟Assortment of Croissants🌟 The signature of this place is the variety of flavored croissants. The matcha croissant, the meat floss and seaweed croissant, and the dream dragon croissant are all good! However, if you don't eat them immediately, it's best to reheat them in an air fryer at home to restore their crispy texture. 🌟Puffs🌟 $6.99 for four, so I always bring a box back each time. They're not overly sweet, with ample cream filling. The matcha flavor is my favorite. 🌟Exquisite Small Cakes🌟 The small cakes here have great aesthetics! I've only tried the matcha and pistachio flavor, and I'm overall very satisfied! The cream has a slight bitterness from the matcha, the cake is moist and not greasy, and there's a strawberry layer in between. Next time, I'll try to get a big birthday cake. 🌟Breads🌟 The prices of the breads are quite low, with a wide variety, averaging only $2-$3! The taro paste, meat floss, and salted egg yolk bun is a must-try! In addition, various coconut buns and red bean buns are also quite good, reminiscent of the taste from childhood. 😍 #NewYorkFood #NewYorkFoodGuide #NewYorkFoodExploration #NewYorkFoodRecommendations #NewYorkDesserts #NewYorkInternetFamousDesserts #NewYorkInternetFamous #FlushingFoodNYC
