Kappo Sono 🍃 The best kaiseki in New York is back, and the September menu is a feast for the senses—every single dish is a delight. Sakizuke The classic pairing of sea urchin and caviar—it's a flavor combination I can never get enough of. 🍣 🍃 Tomezakana The Kansai-style grilled eel is a standout. The surface is perfectly charred and crispy—absolutely divine. 🍖 Owan 🍃A generous portion of crab meat wrapped in wax gourd and served with a Japanese broth. It's the perfect warm bite to chase away the autumn chill. 🍲 Susume-Zakana The teriyaki silver cod is simply amazing! (It's hard to describe, but it's the kind of flavor I crave.) 🍖 🍃 It's been a while since I last visited Kappo Sono, and I can clearly feel the refinement in the dishes since Sono-san's return.
