New York A Pasta Bar 🌟
The chef’s counter here is so lively and full of warmth! On Thursday night, it was packed – so cozy. It was my last meal in NYC with my sister.🌟 1️⃣ Carpaccio di Salmone Between this and the Tartare, a very gentlemanly uncle at our table recommended this one. It’s thinly sliced salmon, pickled with red onions, lemon oil, and arugula juice, served on cassava chips. The onions are minimal, and the cheese adds a salty touch, making it a bit too salty overall. But the portion is generous and satisfying! 🍣 2️⃣ La Cesare Salad A classic Caesar salad with chunky chicken and crispy croutons that are just soft enough. Everything is served warm, which I absolutely love. The textures and flavors are perfectly balanced. 🥗 3️⃣ Tartufo Pizza I saw this on social media and had to try it! It’s topped with black truffle and has a gooey caciocavallo cheese center. The ricotta adds an incredibly rich, creamy flavor. There are four slices in total. If you want to maximize utility, one slice per person is perfect – super satisfying. Any more, and you’ll feel too full and maybe even a bit nauseous. 🍕 🍸 El Nino The base spirit here is either tequila or vodka. Looking at the menu, I was reminded of Mexican fruit platters – the mix of chili powder and fruit. This cocktail features mezcal, pineapple, and a hint of Mexican chili. The rim of the glass is coated with chili salt. After fasting all day, just two sips made my head spin. The flavors oscillate between spicy and not spicy at all, and the heat lingers from the tip of your tongue to your lips for a long time. It’s intense! 🍸 🌟 Sitting with friends around the counter, watching the dishes come out, was so much fun. There are also plenty of table seats for dates, and the atmosphere is just amazing. #DateRestaurant #Soho #SohoFoodie 🌺🌟
