New York Antidote 🌟

I’ve been wanting to try this new Chinese restaurant for years, and finally got to eat there on the weekend. The steamed whole fish and dan dan noodles were love at first bite! 🍜 📍 Antidote, in Williamsburg, with other cool spots nearby listed at the end. This restaurant’s Sichuan and Cantonese dishes are both impressive – a perfect blend of Southern delicacy and Northern flavors, with a beautiful ambiance. 🌟 Ever since I saw Lucas Sin’s visit to Hong Kong and his tasting of the poached fish, I’ve been craving it, and finally got to enjoy it this time! 😍 💰 The value for money is super high! I recommend a way to keep the per-person cost at $25: just order a whole fish + dan dan noodles, and you’ll feel super happy! 💯‼️ For four people, the pre-tax and tip average cost was under $40. Steam Whole Fish 🐟 – Absolutely stunning! The fish is so fresh and tender that I wanted to run to the kitchen to ask where they get it from. The seasoning is perfect! 🌟 A whole steamed fish (they also have braised whole fish) for just $34 is such a great deal! The new charges $48... The nitpicking Southerner says the butterfly cut of the fish isn’t as good as his, and the sliced scallions could be thinner, but that’s about the only thing to complain about. I’d definitely come back for this dish alone! #NewYork 🗽
