New York Bar Recommendations 🍸
Double Chicken Please 🌸 I started with the appetizer and dessert: the NY Beet Salad and Key Lime Pie. They were tasty, but the layers of flavor weren’t very pronounced. Although they were on the lighter side, I felt a bit of a buzz from them (the desserts were indeed quite sweet. I’d suggest ordering in sequence if you plan to have three drinks). 🌊 For the third drink, I went with the Main’s Mango Sticky Rice, which was the best of the night! The drink was incredibly smooth with a rich flavor that was so good I couldn’t stop sipping it (my friend came back from the restroom and complained that I didn’t leave her enough). 🍍 Overstory 🍃 Out of the four bars I visited in NYC, this one was the most average. The drinks were good but didn’t blow me away. However, the bar’s atmosphere and the view of downtown from the 64th floor were quite nice. It felt like a great spot for a date. 🌇 Martiny’s 🎢 Both drinks I had were quite good. One had a basil and tomato flavor with a rich texture, and the other was a Tea Ceremony. If you can appreciate the taste of whisky, you’ll also pick up the matcha flavor—it’s very flavorful. 🍵 #NewYork 🗽
