🍩NEW YORK DAY 2(2)
🍴 Dinner at Nemesis Thai Cuisine A restaurant recommended by a friend Turns out the menu had changed when we visited The dishes I wanted were gone, which was a bit disappointing. But the unexpected surprise was that nothing was a letdown: 🥩 Beef Short Ribs: Medium-rare, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with the seasoning fully absorbed into the meat 🦀️ Crab Fried Rice: Full of wok hei, even more fragrant than many Chinese restaurants' 🦀️ Soft Shell Crab with Curry Sauce: The sauce is super rice-friendly, the crab shell is crispy, but the only downside is the crab meat was a bit scarce 🍰 Cake Shop HARBS Also recommended by a friend, I rushed there at 7:30 Since it was about to close: Only the fruit mille-feuille and chocolate cake were left The fruit mille-feuille was a bit greasy, but the chocolate cake was pretty good Unfortunately, I missed out on the long-awaited strawberry cake 📍 After buying the cake, I walked down the street: There were many interesting shops along the way, but they closed early on Sunday ✅ Oculus (New York's most beautiful subway station) ✅ The nearby Twin Towers site (cordoned off, only viewable from a distance) ✅ Wall Street Bull: A must-touch for good fortune Took a commemorative photo with a $5 newspaper haha 🌃 Night View at Top of the Rock Location: 30 Rockefeller Plaza 💡 It's recommended to book tickets in advance on the official website (you can choose the time slot) We bought tickets for 9:50 p.m., which cost $130.66 for two people The observation deck has three levels, with the highest being the 70th floor, offering a 360° view of New York's night skyline But it feels like finding a restaurant with a night view would be similarly priced #TorontoLife #NewYorkFood
