New York Delights | Alimama Tea Puffs, Mochi, and Sweet Doughnuts()
Now, about the Mochi Donuts. I've tried the Matcha and Crème Brûlée flavors. The Matcha one is quite fragrant and perfect for matcha aficionados. 🎢🍃 The Crème Brûlée version has a touch of gold leaf on top and layers of crispy sugar. Mochi donuts used to be super popular, but personally, I find them just okay. 🌿🌟 They have a chewy texture, which is what mochi is all about, but since my teeth aren't that strong, I'm not a huge fan. Munchkins are like mini mochis. They taste similar to the mochi donuts but are served warm. 🎢🍃 However, when I took them home and they cooled down, they became a bit hard. Their Lychee Rose drink is quite the Instagram sensation. It's a beautiful purple color, perfect for photos. 🌿🌟 It's topped with gold leaf, dried rose petals, and some green herbs, and there's a lychee inside. I ordered it with less ice and sugar, and the sweetness was just right, though there was still a fair amount of ice. 🎢🍃 Remember to stir it well before drinking, as the sugar settles at the bottom in a white layer. Otherwise, it might taste bland towards the end. The lychee flavor is very refreshing and perfect for summer. 🌿🌟 If it's your first time visiting, you should definitely give it a try. That's it for my share! 🤏🏻 🤏🏻 #NewYork 🌟🌟🌟
