New York Delights | Four Horseman ๐ & Wine Bar ๐ท
In New York, there aren't many dining options with outdoor seating and a great wine selection. It's rare to find a place I haven't tried before that ticks all the boxes. The Four Horsemen in Brooklyn is one such gem! ๐ This place has an extensive wine selection because they also sell wine. They specialize in natural wines. We ordered two bottles: ๐พ๏ธ Anne & Jean-Francois Ganevat NV โRottโ Fall โRโ This natural wine from Cรดte de Jura, France ๐ซ๐ท, is made from Riesling grapes. It has a yeasty flavor profile with notes of green apple ๐ and yogurt ๐ง. There are also earthy undertones. If you like or want to try funky wines, Jura wines are a must-try. They have a unique taste. This wine pairs perfectly with appetizers. ๐ฝ๏ธ ๐ท Trapet 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin Pinot Noir To be honest, this wine wasn't as good as I expected. From its body and color, you can tell it's quite "light." The flavors are thereโred fruits, leather, and smokinessโbut it lacks complexity. I was a bit disappointed. ๐ ๐ The food is really worth recommending. Don't judge the dishes by their appearance; they taste amazing. From the bread to the desserts, everything was to my liking. Since we had a big group, we ordered everything on the menu. I highly recommend: Scallops ๐ฆช Foccacia Bread Sablefish Fried Pork Cutlet Beef Short Ribs Overall, the dishes look German ๐ฉ๐ช but have a hint of Asian flavors in the seasoning. ๐ #NewYork ๐๐
