New York Dining Adventure: Hey Thai ๐ŸŒ†

๐Ÿ™๏ธHey Thai is a place with a tropical twist, and even on a busy workday night, it was surprisingly full. My friend and I decided to give it a try, but unfortunately, the food left us feeling a bit underwhelmed. ๐Ÿƒ Duck Tamarind: This dish was a major disappointment. The duck meat was incredibly tough, and the skin was soft and almost mushy. Some parts of the meat were so shrunken that they were impossible to chew. The sauce had an artificial sweet and sour flavor that just didnโ€™t sit well with us. Overall, a big thumbs down on this one. ๐Ÿ‘Ž ๐ŸŽข Seafood Pineapple Curry: The seafood itself was decent in quality, but the curry sauce was pretty bland and ordinary. It lacked the depth of flavor that youโ€™d expect from a good curry. The pineapple added a bit of sweetness, but it wasnโ€™t enough to elevate the dish. ๐Ÿ ๐Ÿƒ Mango Sticky Rice: The texture of the sticky rice was fine, but it lacked the rich, aromatic fragrance that makes this dish so special. The mango was unripe and had no real fruit flavor. It was a bit of a letdown, especially since mango sticky rice is usually one of my favorite desserts. ๐Ÿฅญ ๐ŸŒŠ Overall, Hey Thai had a lot of potential with its tropical vibe and bustling atmosphere, but the food just didnโ€™t deliver. We were hoping for a more authentic and flavorful experience. Maybe next time weโ€™ll try something different! ๐ŸŒŸ ๐ŸŒธ #NewYork #NYCFood #DiningDisappointment ๐Ÿ”
