New York Dining Adventure 🌟
Highlights of the Evening: 🦞 Lobster à la Newburg: I didn’t get a photo, but it was truly a one-bite wonder! I’ll definitely order my own next time and savor every last bite. 🦞 🥗 Chopped Salad: A mix of many seasonal vegetables, finely chopped. The dressing had a slight heaviness from the mayo, but overall, it was a great pairing. 🥬 🥩 New York Strip: Perfectly cooked medium-rare, with a generous seasoning of pepper and salt. It was so flavorful and satisfying! 🍖 🦆 Duck Breast: The plating was minimalist—just a piece of duck breast with sauce. But the crispy, oily, yet light duck skin offered a very contradictory yet delightful sensory experience. 🦆 🍖 A Little Twist: I initially wanted to order the prime rib, but it was sold out. The waiter brought over some roasted pork ribs after a while, saying it was the leftover part of the prime rib. I thought it was a joke, but one bite in, the tenderness was even better than regular pork ribs. I happily kept munching away! 🐶 Dessert: The dessert was also impressive, though it was on the sweeter side. The other elements were perfectly executed. 🍰 Wine: The highlight was a full lineup of Château d’Yquem wines. Talk about showing off! 🥂 Overall, the experience was fantastic. It’s perfect for special occasions or bringing parents and older family members to impress. The food is top-notch, but the prices are on the higher side. Four of us ended up spending a four-figure amount, and we paid $60 just for water (a $12 San Pellegrino bottle). If you can afford it, it’s definitely worth treating yourself! 💸 #NewYork #NYCLife #NYCDining 🌇🌟
