New York Dining Adventures 🍔
🌸Shabu-Tatsu 🍖 Located in the East Village, this shabu-shabu restaurant offers a decent dining experience. The flavors are solid, not bad but not particularly mind-blowing either. We ordered the Prime Rib Eye Beef, which was of high quality, but the portion size was a bit small and the price was on the higher side. 🌸We were expecting to get complimentary ice cream at the end of our meal, but the waiter informed us that the dessert part had been canceled. 😢 While it was a cozy treat to enjoy a warm shabu-shabu on a cold and windy day in New York, I probably won't be coming back here again. 🌬️ Hokkaido Baked Cheese Tart 🍰 🌸This shop has expanded from K-Town to the East Village. I’ve tried their matcha, ube, and original cheese tarts before, and they were all delicious. This time, they’ve introduced a limited-edition sakura (cherry blossom) flavor for the season 🍊, so I picked up two. I didn’t really taste the cherry blossom flavor; it was more like orange and the rose petals on top. 🌸 But my friend said she detected a hint of floral scent. Compared to the cherry blossom-flavored chips from back home, these tarts are way better—mainly because they look super pretty! Definitely worth a try if you’re into beautiful and tasty snacks. 🌟 #DiningAdventures #NewYorkLife 🌆🌟
