New York Dining Delights | Cafe Carmellini 🌟
Cafe Carmellini is an Italian/French restaurant located at 250 5th Ave in Manhattan, inside the Fifth Avenue Hotel. The location is perfect, and the restaurant's decor is stunning. The service is impeccable—they even prepared desserts and a music box for a birthday celebration. We had reserved a table on the second-floor balcony, which offered great privacy. 🎉 Overall Rating: 4.9/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Squab en Croute (Pigeon Wellington) The most impressive dish! The pigeon meat is incredibly tender and has no gamey flavor. The accompanying pine nut sauce perfectly balances the foie gras. 🍖 Ricotta Agnolotti, Ragù Modenese (Italian Meat Sauce Ravioli) A delightful surprise! The sauce has a sweet and sour pork rib flavor, and the ravioli filling is well-seasoned. 🍜 Beef Carpaccio Norcia (Thinly Sliced Raw Beef) It’s a simple dish with a small portion, but the flavor is quite enjoyable. 🍖 Crab & Meyer Lemon Mille-Feuille (Lemon Crab Meat Puff Pastry) The layers are rich and delicate, though the crab flavor is a bit subtle and not very memorable. 🦀 Sticky Toffee Pudding (Rum Toffee Cake) While I love rum, this cake has a bit too much rum flavor, which overwhelms the cake’s natural taste and texture. 🍰 The cocktails are strong and delicious. The birthday cake they gifted was very thoughtful. 🎂 #NewYork #FoodieDiary 🌆🌟
