New York East Village Moroccan Cuisine - Lamb Shank with Rice 🌴

Since it was Sunday around 2:30 PM, the restaurant was bustling, but we were still able to walk in. The place is definitely popular! 🌟 For starters, we went with the MEZZE SERVED WITH PITA, which included Falafel & Tahini sauce. It’s definitely worth a try—the flavors were quite nice! 🥙 🌺 For the main course, we had their signature dish, Lamb Shank with Rice (stewed with apricot and prunes). The lamb was tender and flavorful. I’m not usually a fan of lamb, but this dish was pretty good, with just a hint of gaminess that was manageable. 🍖 We also tried the Moroccan Mulled Wine cocktail, which was a hot drink flavored with cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, and orange. The portion was quite small, and while the taste was unique, it wasn’t my favorite.
