New York East Village Moroccan Cuisine - Lamb Shank with Rice ๐ŸŒด

Cafe Mogador ๐Ÿ“ 101 St Marks Pl, New York, NY 10009 ๐Ÿ’ฐ Average cost: $35-$40 After work, my colleague and I decided to check out this place. Since it was Sunday around 2:30 PM, the restaurant was bustling, but we were still able to walk in. The place is definitely popular! ๐ŸŒŸ For starters, we went with the MEZZE SERVED WITH PITA, which included Falafel & Tahini sauce. Itโ€™s definitely worth a tryโ€”the flavors were quite nice! ๐Ÿฅ™ ๐ŸŒบ For the main course, we had their signature dish, Lamb Shank with Rice (stewed with apricot and prunes). The lamb was tender and flavorful. Iโ€™m not usually a fan of lamb, but this dish was pretty good, with just a hint of gaminess that was manageable. ๐Ÿ– We also tried the Moroccan Mulled Wine cocktail, which was a hot drink flavored with cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, and orange. The portion was quite small, and while the taste was unique, it wasnโ€™t my favorite. I felt it was a bit overpriced for what you get. ๐Ÿท ๐ŸŒบ Hereโ€™s the full menu for reference. #ExperienceExoticCuisine #NYCFoodie ๐ŸŒบ
