Another disappointing trendy Japanese dessert spot. 🌸Burrow in Dumbo has been on my must-try list for ages. They only operate until 2 PM on weekdays and are closed on weekends. I rushed in at 1:45 PM on a Wednesday and grabbed all the remaining desserts. I sat by my favorite riverside view and started digging in. 🌉 🍃To be honest, I was a bit underwhelmed. The matcha cherry dessert was way too sweet, and the tea flavor wasn't strong enough. 🌊 The coffee roll cake was okay, but the cream inside didn't have the fluffy texture I love. The chocolate cake had a rich flavor, but the flour was a bit dry and tough. 🎢 Maybe it was because we were near closing time, and the desserts weren't in their best condition.
