New York Food | Greek Seafood ๐
Taverna Kyclades. A classic Greek restaurant thatโs been famous for years. Thereโs one in the East Village and another in Astoria. ๐ ๐ I met up with friends to visit the holiday market and decided to grab a bite at the East Village location. We arrived a bit early, and the heating hadnโt been turned on yet, so it was a bit chilly inside. But the cozy atmosphere and the promise of delicious food made up for it. ๐ฝ๏ธ ๐Every dish was a delight. The fish was lightly seasoned, allowing its natural freshness to shine through. My favorite was the stuffed clams, filled with a mix of crabmeat and clam meat. Compared to fish, I definitely have a soft spot for shellfish ๐. The flavors were so authentic, and each bite felt like a trip to the Greek islands. We also tried the Greek salad, which was fresh and vibrant, and the octopus, which was tender and perfectly grilled. The portions were generous, and every dish was cooked with love and attention to detail. ๐ต ๐ The average cost per person was around $70, which I think is totally worth it for such an amazing dining experience. Whether youโre a seafood lover or just looking to try something new, Taverna Kyclades is a must-visit. ๐ #NewYorkFood #NewYorkFoodGuide #GreekCuisine ๐
