—————— 🔆Restaurant Name: Uluh (Hulu) 🌿Ambience: The environment here is very comfortable, featuring a minimalist Chinese style with wooden tables and chairs. On a weeknight, the restaurant was nearly full. 🍽Food: Firstly, the serving speed is quite fast, which deserves praise. 🎃Salted Egg Yolk Pumpkin Pudding: This dish has to be the star of the show (Order it!!). The outer layer is coated with a thick layer of salted egg yolk, fried to a crispy perfection, contrasting beautifully with the soft, tender, and sweet pumpkin pudding inside. It's impossible to stop at just one bite. 🦐Black Truffle Rice Cake Shrimp: Many people on Xiaohongshu have recommended it, but honestly, the truffle flavor in the dish is not very prominent, and there are too many rice cakes and too few shrimp, making it slightly less impressive than other dishes. 🐷Boneless Spicy Pig's Feet: A must-order every time I come, it's the kind of dish that you miss after not having it for a while. The spiciness is not very pronounced, and it's very palatable with rice. 🥠Fried Tofu: Compared to the fried tofu at Zhe Li, the tofu at Hulu is larger, with a harder exterior that hasn't been dusted with flour. There's room for improvement with this dish. 🍡Ice Powder Mochi Soy Milk: The rice cake skewers on top seem to be the same as those in the black truffle shrimp, offering a rich texture. The soy milk sprinkled with soybean flour on top is rich and fragrant. In the middle is a layer of sticky mochi, and at the bottom is ice powder. Half full after just one cup. 📍152A 2nd Ave, New York, NY 10003 🕒: Noon - 10/11 PM —————— #uluh#New York# food diary
