Tom Yum Shrimp Congee: This is my second favorite dish. The tangy Tom Yum soup is super refreshing and appetizing. ๐ The shrimp arenโt abundant, but they are super crunchy and delicious. Paired with the slightly runny rice, itโs a perfect comfort food that gets more satisfying with every bite. Highly recommended! ๐ฒ Chefโs Recommended Breakfast with Fried Egg: This one was quite a novelty for me. It features Thai sausage, dried sausage, and a meat patty with eggs. The flavors are nice but somewhat similar to the Chinese-style steamed meat patty with eggs. I felt it was more suitable as a side dish for rice. ๐ธ It came with three small slices of soft bread that werenโt toasted. I was expecting something more like crispy French bread, so that was a slight letdown. ๐ฅช Ratatouille Goat Cheese Taro Cake: This was another interesting combination that I ordered out of curiosity. Personally, I felt the taro cake and ratatouille didnโt go together very well. ๐ข The vegetables were on the tangy side, and the strong flavor of goat cheese made the whole dish feel a bit unbalanced. Compared to the taro cakes from Guangdong or Fujian, this one falls short. ๐ #NewYork ๐๐
