New York French Fine Dining | Le Coucou 🌟

📍 138 Lafayette St, New York, NY 10013 Lunch costs around $69+ per person, with the option to choose two courses, and some dishes require an additional charge. You can really eat until you’re super full! 🍽️ The ambiance and service are both excellent, and I think the flavors might be even better at dinner. 🐟 Thon à l’espelette Tuna and scallops, pretty standard. 🦢 Galantine de pintade et foie gras à la chartreuse Chicken and foie gras roll. The liver isn’t very gamey, and when mixed with the chicken, the texture of the liver is barely noticeable. The mustard sauce is very strong. My friend didn’t like this dish; I think it’s just okay, but I wouldn’t recommend it. 🦆 Canette aux cerises +$22 The duck is pretty good, prepared in two different ways. The P5 duck skin is crispy. 🦞 Homard “Bourse et la Vie” +$29 The portion is quite large. Surprisingly, the whole lobster is not fishy at all after being shelled and prepared. Eating it with the sauce is very satisfying. 🍹 L’Amante Perdue $22 The alcohol content is a bit high; it’s not really a light dessert wine. There are two types of bread before the meal, and you can get more if you finish. After the meal, they also offer a complimentary plate of petit fours. #FrenchRestaurant #FoodieDaily 🍔🌟
