New York Great NY Noodletown 🌟
1⃣️ I discovered this restaurant by chance after meeting a friend. She heard we were planning to go to Yínjì Chángfěn (Silver Glory Rice Noodle) and quickly said, "No way!" Instead, she recommended Great NY Noodletown, which is also known as Lik Fook. The address is: Great NY Noodletown, 28 Bowery, New York, NY 10013 📍 😊 2⃣️ Here’s what we ordered, though I can’t quite remember the exact names of the dishes, but it was something like this: Shrimp Wontons (Delicious!) Double Meat Rice (Good, but nothing extraordinary, just solid) Braised Chicken Pot (Amazing! The first time I’ve ever had chicken this smooth. My friend even commented that it was truly “slippery” chicken). 🗽 3⃣️ Sadly, since this is a noodle place, we didn’t order any noodles. If we ever come back, I’d definitely try their noodles to see what all the fuss is about. 🍜 4⃣️ A few tips: This place only accepts cash. There’s an ATM right outside the door, but it charges a $4 fee each time you withdraw. So, it’s better to bring some cash with you. 2333 The menu doesn’t seem to offer rice noodle rolls, but I didn’t specifically ask the staff if they had it. If you’re craving, it might be safer to try another place. 🌟 The utensils here have a strong smell of disinfectant. If possible, I’d recommend rinsing them with hot tea or boiled water before using them to get rid of the disinfectant smell. Otherwise, it might affect the taste of the food. 🥢 🌟 Overall Review: Not bad at all! It’s a reliable Cantonese restaurant that consistently delivers. Definitely worth a visit, and you probably won’t be disappointed. I had a great time! #NewYork
