New York Hidden Gem for Romantic Dates đ
This place is a secret haven for romantic evenings! đž Jazz music and spicy clam pasta are a perfect match. The decor is classic and old money, with live jazz performances every day. The seating is varied, and we were assigned a semi-circular table that offered great privacy. We could see the band perform right in front of us. Enjoying a slightly tipsy meal here is anything but superficial. The food is even more impressive than the drinks. After dinner, we warmed ourselves by the fireplace. This is the perfect spot for a date, with an atmosphere thatâs both cozy and romantic. đ¶ The menu is extensive, organized by origin and vintage. Whether youâre a whisky novice or a connoisseur, youâll find something to love here. I highly recommend trying the tasting flights to sample a variety of flavors! đ„ Clam Pasta đ„ THRILLA IN MANILA $40 I canât recommend this highly enough! The pasta is perfectly al dente, carrying the spiciness implied by the name âThrilla in Manila.â Itâs a rare blend of sour and salty flavors. The spiciness is subtle, with a hint of tropical heat, like a gentle breeze from the South Seas. The clams are coated in a savory cream sauce, rich and creamy with a touch of heart-racing heat. It feels like walking down the old streets of Manila, with the warm wind blowing past the stone lions in front of the temple and tousling my hair. The pickled radish slices on the side are reminiscent of Korean kimchi. đ #NewYork đâš
