The seating is varied, and we were assigned a semi-circular table that offered great privacy. We could see the band perform right in front of us. The pasta is perfectly al dente, carrying the spiciness implied by the name âThrilla in Manila.â Itâs a rare blend of sour and salty flavors. The spiciness is subtle, with a hint of tropical heat, like a gentle breeze from the South Seas. The clams are coated in a savory cream sauce, rich and creamy with a touch of heart-racing heat. It feels like walking down the old streets of Manila, with the warm wind blowing past the stone lions in front of the temple and tousling my hair.
