A South American Romance Named After Frida 🏙️ Kahlo is the last name of Frida, and I never really thought about what a restaurant run by a South American painter would be like. After visiting Kahlo, it felt just right. This Mexican restaurant perfectly balances sophistication, warmth, chill, and artistry (except for the odd blue lights that come on around 9 PM...). 🏙️It’s lively and bustling, but the glass ceiling adds a touch of South American glamour. The food is delicious, with an average cost of around $70 per person. It’s perfect for a date, and it’s easy to get a reservation now (even though it’s still always busy). I hope it stays this way so I can visit anytime! 🍹 Frida: This drink is really good! I forgot to take a photo, but it has just the right amount of sweetness and the sparkling wine is very refreshing. It lives up to being the signature drink named after Frida. 🐟 Tuna Tostadas 🌟🌟🌟: Yellowfin tuna topped with black caviar, avocado salsa, and pickled red cabbage—it’s quite refreshing. 🦪 Scallop 🌟🌟🌟: The pan-seared scallops with flavorful green vegetables are really tasty, but this dish seems to have disappeared from the menu later. #NewYork
