New York Hidden Gems 🌟
🥩Drok-Sha (Beef) I couldn't find out what this dish name means (if anyone knows, please enlighten me!). It's like beef jerky, with an incredibly firm texture. 🌿🌺The aroma of chili oil is so inviting, and it's purely the flavor of the beef itself. It's perfect for enjoying with a drink! But be careful, eating too much might make your cheeks sore 😂. Not recommended if you don't have strong teeth. The accompanying Tingmo (Tibetan steamed bun) is super big! It has no flavor, but it's soft with a lot of air pockets. It's a bit dry, so I ended up dipping it in the noodle soup to eat. 🍜Thenthuk (Beef) I was surprised to find that the side dishes were more abundant than the noodle dumplings! The beef in the noodles is much easier to chew than in Drok-Sha. I really liked the bell peppers and wood ear mushrooms as side dishes—they're just like home-cooked food, very comforting and warming to the stomach. 🌿🌺 After eating such hearty dishes, my stomach became round and full. These three dishes cost around $25 per person, and they're very filling 👏🏻. The restaurant is clean and bright, with a nice atmosphere. I've been intrigued by the Yellow Liangpi Rolls and Butter Tea. I heard the chili oil can be really spicy 🌶️. I'm definitely coming back next time! 📍Lhasa #NewYorkTravel #NewYorkHiddenGems 🌆
