New York Is Just Too Delicious! 🌟
🍓People from the countryside in Western Europe are left with happy drool—immigrant countries really know how to do food justice (except for that annoying tipping culture, of course). 📍 Broad Nosh Bagels Deli & Catering 58th Street 🌟Are bagels this delicious?! I randomly ordered a savory everything bagel with baked salmon and garlic cream cheese. It was such a huge portion; I’d recommend splitting it with a friend. Their blueberry bagel is so fragrant that it’s perfect even when eaten plain! 🥪 📍 August Gathering China Town was a whirlwind of colors and flavors, taking me back to Sham Shui Po. At Fu Yao, I ordered black garlic chicken hot pot, plum duck, tofu soup, and salt-and-pepper squid. 🍓 They even threw in some kimchi and dessert for free. Even though my standards for Chinese food have been lowered, this place nailed the modern Cantonese flavors of Hong Kong/Guangzhou. It was such a comfort to my stomach, which has been craving home-cooked meals for over half a year. 🍲 Nanxiang Steamed Dumplings 🌟 I waited about 45 minutes during the Saturday lunch rush, but it was worth it. The soup dumplings and beef noodles were amazing. The wontons had a slightly odd taste, but adding a lot of chili oil made them bearable. 🥟 #NewYorkFoodie 🌆🍜
