New York Japanese and Korean Solo/Pair Dining EP02 (1)๐ฑ
๐The first update after returning to New York from my trip. Still featuring four delicious Japanese and Korean small shops! (This episode seems to be all about Japanese cuisine.) ๐ Sozai (Izakaya Ramen) ๐A rare izakaya in Midtown & north of Bryant Park. The spicy pork bone ramen has a rich broth and chewy noodles. The grilled salmon is flavored with yuzu miso and served on top of roasted potatoes โ light yet satisfying, and quite memorable. The fried fish skin in the salad is also a standout. ๐ ๐ Sanuki Udon A โordering + self-serve fried items + checkout at the counterโ process, very interactive and perfect for a weekday lunch. ๐The soft-boiled egg tempura (still soft-boiled after frying!) and fried shrimp are both great. The beef noodle soup is pretty standard, but the generous amount of meat is a plus! ๐ #MyTreasuredFoodCollection #NewYorkFood ๐๐
