New York Japanese Restaurant: DOMODOMO Jersey City
Though I've been living in JC downtown for several years, I rarely dine in JC. These past few days, I checked out Urby's Domodomo and was pleasantly surprised! It's truly one of the best Japanese restaurants I've had recently in the area! 🌟Hand Roll The hand roll is essentially their signature dish; for $32, you get five generous portions. The Yellowtail, Shrimp Tempura, and Tuna are all great. 🌟Uni Pasta This is a squid ink pasta with sea urchin, rich in sauce and beautifully plated. The only minor downside is that the sea urchin is all at the bottom, but the taste is still excellent. 🌟Fried Pork Cutlet Sandwich This sandwich is also quite large. I think I could be full from just this one serving. It feels like an 8 out of 10 for a Japanese-style tonkatsu sandwich. 🌟Korean Fried Chicken The fried chicken is delicious! It's the Korean-style fried chicken flavor that I love! 🌟Shrimp Dumplings They are similar to Sichuan-style wontons with chili oil – average but satisfying. Overall, I'm thrilled to have found a tasty Japanese restaurant nearby and will likely visit often in the future. 😆 #NewJerseyFood #NewYorkRestaurants #NewYorkFoodExploration #EatsInNewYork #NewYorkFoodGuide #NewYorkEats #FlushingFood #NewYorkSushi
