Seafood Pancake ๐Ÿ’ฐ16 A traditional Korean seafood pancake! The pancake is packed with fresh shrimp ๐Ÿฆด and other seafood, with very little batter, making it a classic and satisfying dish that never disappoints. ๐Ÿณ Yook-Hwe ๐Ÿ’ฐ15 Beef tartare! Itโ€™s delicious and perfectly suited to Chinese palates. The tartare is mixed with octopus ๐Ÿฆ‘, which adds a chewy texture, and fried onions for a complex flavor profile. Itโ€™s so good that itโ€™s completely gone in no time. ๐Ÿ– Jang-Eo Gang Jeong ๐Ÿ’ฐ27 Fried eel and eggplant โŒ Not recommended. The batter is thick, the eggplant is very greasy, and the eel has quite a few bones. The best part is the accompanying salad, which is quite sweet and refreshing. ๐Ÿต Braised Pork Cheek ๐Ÿ’ฐ25 Spicy stir-fried pork cheek is quite average. It feels a bit cold when served. The meat is tender but lacks flavor, and the cabbage is even more flavorful than the meat. ๐Ÿ– Beef Su-Yuk ๐Ÿ’ฐ29 Clear beef bone soup ๐Ÿฆด is delicious! Itโ€™s a comforting dish with a familiar flavor, perfect for cold or rainy days. Thereโ€™s plenty of meat, so itโ€™s worth a try. ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Overall, itโ€™s a pretty good Korean spot with some innovative touches. The appetizers are amazing ๐Ÿ’ฅ, but the main courses are quite average. The portions are on the smaller side, but maybe thatโ€™s just because we have big appetites hhh ๐Ÿ˜ณ (Other tables around us ordered less.) ๐Ÿ“119 1st Ave, NY #NewYorkEats #KoreanCuisine ๐ŸŒ‡๐ŸŒŸ
