New York Marea 🍝

🎢Marea, a classic Italian restaurant located southwest of Central Park, has always caught my eye with its golden bar that looks so beautifully decorated. I finally got the chance to visit on a special anniversary, and the overall experience was amazing! The ambiance truly elevates the whole dining experience, even beyond the food itself. 🌟 🌸The desserts were a delightful surprise! We loved the signature octopus pasta with bone marrow, and the appetizer of lobster with burrata cheese was absolutely delicious. The caviar appetizer was good, but the bread was a bit too oily, so it was just okay. I highly recommend Marea’s celebration upgrade service! I pre-ordered champagne, had a card written, and even requested a cake with a special message. 🌊 Their chocolate cake was stunning – beautiful and delicious, with each layer offering a different flavor. Highly recommended! 🍰 A fun little story: because of the cake, we struck up a conversation with the lovely, elegant, and beautiful couple at the next table who had been together for 22.5 years. 🏙️ We ended up toasting with champagne together, and it turned out they met on Match.com 22.5 years ago!
