New York NYC | In Search of the Best Tacos in New York (2)🌮
2⃣️ Tripe (Beef Tripe) 🌮 🌟To be honest, I came for this one! It’s hard to find tripe tacos in most American restaurants! The last time I was amazed was by a street-side beef tongue taco. The flavors are somewhat similar; the tripe is stewed until it’s incredibly tender. You can barely feel the texture of the tripe, but it still retains some of the organ flavor. If you’re not used to it, you might not like it, but I think it’s super beefy! 3⃣️ Suadero (Slow-Braised Beef) The same type of beef as in the first taco, and it’s incredibly tender. 4⃣️ Nopales (Cactus) 🌵 This taco can also come with fried pork rinds. For some reason, it has a mushroom-like smoothness, and the pork rinds add another layer of flavor. 🌟 5⃣️ Longaniza (Spicy Pork Sausage) 🌶️ It’s more like minced meat than sausage, and it’s a bit spicy for me. I’d recommend just getting the first one, Suadero, which has both Longaniza and beef and can balance the spiciness. I also tried their beef soup, which you can skip—it’s nothing special. You can add your own onions, chili sauce, and cilantro. Their chili sauce 🌶️ packs a nice punch, so spicy food lovers should give it a try. 🌮 Taqueria Ramirez has been topping the New York taco charts on Beli for a reason. It’s always busy on weekends, especially during meal times. I got there early at around 5:30 and only had a short wait, so I’d suggest going early if you can. #NewYorkLife #NewYorkFoodGuide 🗽
