New York NYC | Super Satisfying and Cost-Effective Sashimi Takeout 🍣

This place is truly my hidden gem! I’m reluctant to share it! 📍 Dongwon Sushi & Tuna Address: 41-19 162nd St, Flushing, NY 11358 I visited the store once after a Korean friend recommended it, but Flushing’s Koreatown is really not convenient for transportation. Later, I found out I could order from Chowbus! I was so excited! This is definitely not an ad! 🌟 This place serves Korean-style sashimi. Have you guys been to Bada Story in New Jersey? It’s quite similar, but they specialize in tuna... The variety of tuna cuts is really impressive, and many are ones I’ve never tried before. 🐟 I highly recommend their sashimi sets:⬇️ ⚠️ Note that the portions are really huge because Korean sashimi usually comes with lots of side dishes. Medium Tuna Sashimi Set ($186) Recommended for 2-3 people, but my friends and I, four people in total, were very full. Small Tuna Sashimi Set ($143) Recommended for 2 people, but I think it’s enough for 3. My boyfriend and I couldn’t finish it. Their single-serving Korean sashimi bowl is also really good. 😌 The portions are generous, and there are plenty of side dishes. I remember Bada Story also had generous portions, but this place can truly compete. It’s now my favorite takeout in Flushing.
