The service is not good and the food is not as good as I expected anymore. I came here almost every weekend because the food is great and itās always busy. I would even want to wait around 30mnt to eat here. But after a number of visits, I feel discontent with the service and the food was not as good as I expected anymore.
It was not like the usual busy Saturday. It was quiet. I saw 3 table with guests eating there or maybe 5 table max if I didnāt see the others. The waitress took our order and never came around to ask if things were ok. The tea glasses were all empty for quite some time. I finally asked other staff who isnāt a waiter or a waitress to give us some more tea. The next time I saw our waitress is when she took the bill from me and gave my friend to sign it. It happened more than once.. In fact way too often for me to notice that as a pattern which makes me wonder if they have anything against me. More than 20 times I been here and I always be the one who is paying but why canāt the waitress remember who puts the card in and give the bill back to her. whatever the reason is, it isnāt acceptable. I donāt feel welcome here to begin with and it was ok for quite some time but this is the last time Iād go there. This is not a big deal if other things did not happen before or the place is busy. It was a quiet Saturday.
On top of that, the sushi had too much rice with small...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFeeling adventurous today and found this spot on google and Yelp with decent reviews but was kinda disappointed with our experience today. Mostly because it was pricey for what you get, not really worth it imo. I noticed the banchan from other tables were different than what we got (they had more items with corn, takoyaki and some other stuff that we didn't get), either because they ordered a different type or maybe because we didn't speak Korean. We got the sushi & sashimi combo for 3-4, each person got 13 pieces in my group of 4 and with some side dishes the price came out to be about $55 per person with tip and taxes. I wasn't too hungry today but if I was, the portion would be quite small. My group left all feeling a bit unsatisfied, usually with these meals the banchan would fill us up or the fish itself but this one was not that much food (lucky we werenāt that hungry or Iād be so upset if I left still feeling hungry and needed a second meal after spending so much here already).
I recommend coming here with Korean friends so you might get more items. Not a place I'd recommend to others from an average experience. I'd almost recommend other AYCE Korean BBQ spots in the area for the price you're paying or even just getting platters with more food that'll fill you up from sushi spots in the area. Staff was friendly and decor was nice but nothing special. Won't be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went here with my friends to celebrate us becoming groomsmen over the weekend. We were probably the group that brought a good amount of sales with the bill reaching above 1,000 for a dinner after gratuity. I wanted to take the raw sashimi home with the frozen tuna head that we were served. The waitress refused to box it for me. Saying you dont do that with raw fish. I proceeded to tell her it would be for my dog who I feed raw sometimes. She still refused by placing her own opinions of what a dog can eat...I didnt want to argue with a fool so I kept my peace. I don't understand why she talks too much instead of doing what the customer asks. Like just because your older than me and my friends doesnt make it okay to disregard us. I dont understand why her opinion overrides what I WANT. I know best what I want to do with the food we paid for. She has tattoos on her arms and shes about 40 years old. If she waits for you, run...
