New York Omakase in Manhattan! โจ
๐: Sushi Makoto Whenever I crave omakase, I head straight here! Conveniently located near the West Village in Manhattan, itโs super easy to get to. ๐ฃ There are two options: 15 courses for $120 ๐ฐ or 18 courses for $150 ๐ฐ. This time, I went for the 15-course menu, and it was anything but disappointing. The ingredients were top-notch! The environment is clean and comfortable, perfect for a solo dining experience. Several dishes had delightful surprises! ๐ฃ Who doesnโt love the sweet and delicious combination of Hokkaido scallops and sea urchin? The addition of finger lime adds a uniquely refreshing texture. ๐ฆ๐ The sea urchin rice topped with red snapper is so flavorful and soft that I could go for three more servings! ๐ฑ ๐ฃThe sushi was a highlight throughout: Shima Aji, tender sweet shrimp, squid, rich Otoro, and creamy, melt-in-your-mouth sea urchin. They even provide a little booklet with descriptions of each fishโperfect for learning while you eat. ๐ The meal ended with a melt-in-your-mouth caramel pudding and a warm cup of tea ๐ต. ๐ฃ: 208 W 14th St, New York, NY 10011 #NewYork #NYCFoodie #NYCRestaurant ๐
