Incredible New York Shinjuku Squid Ink Ramen 🦑 This ramen is a new item at Shinjuku, so it's not on the old menu. You can tell the waiter that you want: 🍜 Black Ink Tonkotsu Ramen (19 USD per bowl). The chashu (pork slices) in this ramen is roasted, giving it a smoky aroma that I absolutely love 😋. I spent an extra 3 bucks to add the Super Star Combo (one slice of chashu, two pieces of chicken breast, and half an egg). The egg was a bit overcooked and tasted a little salty, which I didn't like. The chicken breast was also a bit tough, so next time I'll just add two slices of chashu. 🍜 I even finished the soup—it was that good!
