New York Restaurant Week 🌟 This Michelin One-Star Isn't a Deal

This Saturday, I went to Le Jardinier. 🌟 My Restaurant Week experience was a rollercoaster of discounts and changes. Initially, the official website said the restaurant was participating on Saturdays, so I booked early. However, after my experience at Crown Shy last week, I checked the website again and saw it had changed to Monday through Friday. 🌟 I called to confirm that Saturday wasn't participating, canceled my reservation, but then received a reminder on Friday. Curious, I checked the website again and saw it had changed back to include Saturday. I called to confirm, thinking I'd finally be able to dine the next day, but then received a cancellation notice from the restaurant that evening. I was so confused! Finally, I managed to rebook for the original time after another call. 🌟 They offered pre-meal bread, freshly baked. One of the soft, round loaves was particularly delicious, though it lacked butter. Appetizers 🧀 BURRATA - It didn't have a refreshing feel, and no single ingredient stood out. 🐖 CRISPY PORK BELLY - The pork belly was paired with watermelon and cucumber, using freshness to balance the greasiness. Main Courses 🍚 GOLD RICE RISOTTO - This was the most visually appealing dish, with a rich flavor and texture, both soft and crispy. 🐟 GRILLED BRANZINO - The fish was decent, but once again, the fish skin was overly salty. 🦐 GULF COAST SHRIMP - The shrimp was served over what seemed to be Southern-style grits. #NewYork 🌇
