New York Restaurant Week at Nougatine by Jean-Georges(1) 🌟

🎢🌟Located on the first floor of the Trump Hotel in Columbus Circle, with a view of Central Park, Nougatine by Jean-Georges is part of the same series as JoJo. Not surprisingly, the Restaurant Week menu was identical. 🌸🍃 We sat next to the kitchen and could see the desserts and roasted chickens being prepared – they looked exactly the same. 🎢🌟We couldn’t bear to order the same dishes again, so we mixed and matched from the regular menu. The portions were just right. 🍽️ The restaurant’s ambiance leans more towards a business style. Further inside is the authentic two-Michelin-star Jean Georges. In contrast, JoJo feels more laid-back and is a great spot for casual conversations. 🌸🍃 The style is probably related to the community it’s in. In summary, I probably won’t go to the Financial District just for a fancy meal (I don’t want to eat while watching people have meetings). 📋 The regular menu offers both à la carte and tasting menu options. 🎢🌟Bread – Delicious! The bread is freshly baked with a slightly oily crust, crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and has a good bounce to it. 🥪 Restaurant Week Menu Watermelon Goat Cheese 🍉 The watermelon is super sweet, and the goat cheese is not gamey at all. The combination feels like eating watermelon ice cream – refreshing and tasty! 🍃 #NewYork #RestaurantWeek 🌇
