New York State | Cold Spring Town (Chill Without Hiking) 🌿

As a lazy person, I really didn't feel like hiking but still wanted to visit a quaint town near New York, so I decided to explore Cold Spring and Beacon in one day. πŸƒπŸŒΊ Without hiking, Cold Spring is mainly about strolling down Main Street and Cold Spring Pier. If you go on a weekday and it's not peak foliage season, you'll find the streets pretty empty. πŸš— Parking: You can park right in front of the Cold Spring Depot. 1 Depot Square, Cold Spring, NY 10516 ⛰️ Cold Spring Pier: Next to the Cold Spring Depot, there's an underground passage marked "To River" that leads you to the Hudson River. πŸƒπŸŒΊThe wind is super strong there. The view is more stunning in person than in photos, as the bright sunlight can make it tricky to capture the perfect shot. πŸ›€οΈ Train Tracks: Right next to the "To River" sign, you'll find the train tracks, which make for great photos, especially if there are autumn leaves around. πŸ›οΈ Main Street: Main Street is lined with charming little shops, each with its own unique decor. The pace of life in this small town feels really slow and relaxed. 🍧 I highly recommend a dessert place called ROWSEELEE. The ambiance is lovely, and the desserts are super delicate. It's a great spot to sit down, chat, and take a break. πŸƒπŸŒΊ #UpstateNewYork #OneDayTrip 🌟
