New York Steakhouse Roundup

This episode is the most satisfying for us meat lovers, and all the steaks were cooked medium rare. 🥩Peter Luger Steak House Ordered the porterhouse and thick-cut bacon. The porterhouse was spot on, with a nice charred aroma. I preferred the sirloin side for its richer fat content, but the fillet side was more tender. The thick-cut bacon was not bad, but nothing special. 🍖🌟 🥩Smith & Wollensky The place where Buffett had his lunch. The T-bone here is like a smaller version of the porterhouse. The fillet was even more tender than the one at Peter Luger, perfectly cooked with just the right amount of char. The old-timer at the restaurant was super friendly too. 🍖🌟 🥩Delmonico’s A century-old fine dining establishment near the original Life & Trust on Wall Street. I think the thick-cut bacon here is much better than at Peter Luger, with a crispy surface brushed with maple syrup. The 18oz ribeye was incredibly satisfying, cooked medium rare to perfection. However, for some reason, the meat was a bit flaky, easily separable with the center fat as the core and the connective tissue as the radius. 🍖🌟 #NewYork #Steakhouse 🌃🌟
