New York Thai Cuisine: Mitr Thai (1)😋
I've recently become obsessed with Thai food in New York, trying out several places, each with its own unique charm. But it wasn't until last week when I visited Mitr Thai in Midtown Manhattan that I realized New York's Thai food scene is all about "no best, only better." 🌟 I was so impressed that I made a reservation for the next day with my friends before I even finished my meal. 🌟 This place categorizes its dishes by region in Thailand, allowing you to taste a variety of cuisines from all over the country. The menu is long and filled with Thai terms, making it a bit challenging to navigate. I usually pick a few dishes recommended by the Thai waitstaff, and surprisingly, they're all delicious! 😋 I've divided the dishes I've tried into two categories: "amazing" (must-try, order every time) and "delicious" (you might find similar elsewhere). Here are my recommendations: ❤️ Amazing List 🥰‼️ Yen Ta Fo Hot Pot $25 This soup is simply divine!! Note‼️ It's similar but not the same as the tom yum soup many people recommend. It has a tangy, sweet, and spicy flavor, packed with an abundance of ingredients like large shrimp 🦛, squid 🦑, fish balls, fish tofu, and vegetables. 🌟There are also some crispy, slippery ingredients like wood ear mushrooms and two slices of tofu skin garnishing the top. It comes with a side of soft and chewy wide rice noodles that you can cook in the soup. Once you take a bite, you won't be able to stop. Order it every time and finish the pot every time! 😋😋 #NewYork #NYCDelights #ThaiFood 🌇
