New York Weekend Escape to a Peaceful Day Trip 🌿

New York Weekend Escape to a Peaceful Day Trip 🌿 This place is in upstate New York. It's about a one-and-a-half-hour train ride or drive from the city. šŸš‚šŸš— The town is very laid-back. You can go hiking or kayaking! For those who prefer indoor activities, there's a main street with lots of charming shops, cafes, and scenic restaurants. 🌳 It was too hot for kayaking, so we took a simple trail that took about 40 minutes. Along the way, there were many historical sites to explore. There was also a more challenging trail that required using both hands and feet. šŸ§— For lunch, we went to Riverview, a scenic restaurant. The prices were quite reasonable, with an average cost of $20 per person. The free bread was delicious, and the other dishes were pretty good too. I recommend the tomato and eggplant dish. šŸ² We also visited the popular bubble tea shop Rowseelee. It's truly an Instagram-worthy place with beautiful decor and unique items. However, the drinks were a bit pricey at $7.80 and not particularly tasty. šŸµ After the hike, we passed by Cozy Corner Cafe at the foot of the mountain. It was really nice, with excellent service! The juice was especially fresh, just like what mom makes. šŸŠ I highly recommend this place to friends who want to relax and enjoy a weekend outing! 🌟 šŸ“ Cold Spring #NYCFood šŸ” #NYCTravel 🌃 #NYCLife 🌟
